'I enjoy most about this programme is that not only it explains the transition process from university to a workplace, explaining how our role would be different and what to expect, but it also explains and suggests different methods to deal with certain situations such as stress, challenging conversations and raising concerns. Normally the university would deliver content and knowledge, but rarely would teach us how to manage our own emotions well in all situations. We also have few experiences on dealing with challenging conversations with patients or other staff. It is really helpful to talk through the skills and methods when facing these kinds of situations.'

'It was very informative and highlighted areas where I still need to gain more knowledge and do more research. It was very useful to learn from professionals and hear their expert knowledge and also to learn from case studies. While being a student, often we don't think of certain situations that might occur and it was good to see what could happen in real-life practice, what could go wrong and what to do in those situations. I will start my future career less anxious as I can refer back to this programme when I start working with real-life service users and members of the MDT.'

'Learning new skills and gaining knowledge about the variety of career paths you can go down. I also enjoyed how the course was presented, especially the layout. There wasn't too much information to read. It was straightforward to follow, which was great as I get anxious about whether I will be able to take all information given due to dyslexia. Also, I enjoyed attending live webinars and speaking to the professionals about concerns and general inquiries relating to nursing and, primarily, mental health nursing.'
