In this module you'll explore the values and constitution of the NHS as well as gain insight into career paths and  look at the structure of the NHS with respect to different care settings. We also can't ignore the impact of Covid-19 so this will be investigated too. 

Preparing for professional life as a physiotherapist

We'll cover the job application process and interview tips to help you get started with a career in physiotherapy. This module will then give you a better understanding of how to develop your career by looking at the use of technology in the NHS as well as the role of social media in professional life. 

Making the most of your early years as a physiotherapist

Included in this module are topics such as how to find your professional identity, resilience in the workplace, self-management and taking care of your physical and mental health as physiotherapy can be a demanding job on your body and mind. You'll also see some real success stories and learn more about how the NHS supports its staff. 

The art of communication 

Communication is one of the critically important skills for every physiotherapist and this module will cover topics like raising concerns, questioning, complaints and how to manage challenging conversations plus much more.
